I see so many relatively small artists with like 10k to 15k followers that generate over 400k view on every song. I have genuinely no idea how they consistently get this. The most successful promotion campaign I ran for a song got me about 17k views where I got on about 12 small-medium sized blogs and even paid a repost channel. In my experience 99% of repost channels require you to pay and generate less than 1 view per 100 followers they have. I did pretty well with blogs and my plays aren't even close. Even if I hit the jackpot and got on like 30 blogs I still wouldn't even be close. Where do all these views come from on these artists? I know its definitely not blogs.. To consistently generate that many plays when you aren't that big of a name is crazy to me. I don't mean to come off as complaining.. I am just genuinely curious how these artists run such consistently successful marketing campaigns. And please don't say "Make good music!" That is not my question. My question is once an artist gets to a point where his/her music is good enough how are all these views generated?
