What is your best advice on mixing a track with many instruments. It's no unusual that my songs have +10 instruments playing different things. (Not counting drums or percussion in). Because of this i always have trouble mixing/mastering. Most of the time, i either don't get it as loud as i want, or it's not as clear in a sense that i can't hear every instrument. I know that panning and EQ-ing are essential, but what are your must do things when it comes to such tracks? Is it even possible for a hobby producer to mix it so that you can clearly differentiate every instrument? How do pros like Madeon do it? Thank you very much for your time and i'm looking forward to your advice.
