So I posted a remix of a porter track on my SoundCloud which was, "removed from my profile for the time being" The track in question was "a sound for lonely people", doesn't sound familiar? Well that's because it's one of those unreleased, unfinished files off the recent leak.
Anyway the description of the track never listed any details regarding samples or what song was even being remixed, so it was a bit confusing to me when it was taken down. What's even more confusing is that the reason for removing the track was that it "contained the song shelter"!!!
At no point did I sample shelter, or even come close to emulating the sound of the song shelter. I've filed a dispute, however I'm curious as to others' experiences with this. Is it an algorithm? Should I bother waiting to hear back, or just repost it again?
