Hi, I am making a progressive house track much like this (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=R0P_f0gXXqs) with a chord heavy drop. I have done some normal layering with a main detuned saw lead in stereo taking up the mids, and a quieter one taking up the high mids/highs. There is also a square lead just to fill up some space in mono.
My problem is I can't seem to get the chords to hit very well and take up lots of space in the mix. Should I just add more compression to them, or is there something I'm missing about this type of sound design?
