Howdy!
I have a problem with bouncing from patterns to stems. I'm finished mixing and am moving over to mastering. While mastering i want everything to be in audio stems in order to get a clearer overview and stop myself from doing any alterations to the project.
However, when bouncing from patterns to stem using the "split mixer tracks" setting i receive stems from all of the mixer tracks. Every time i've downloaded stems from the net (remix contests etc.), only a few stems are downloaded.
Now, i thought that this might be because they route every different category of instruments/vocals/and so on to their separate buses and just named them something fitting (like "keys", "vox main", etc.). So i tried doing this, but here is the problem:
I have routed certain mixer tracks to both a sender channel and it's respective category's bus track. When i bounce the midi/patterns and only use my bus stems in the final mastering project, i don't retain the effects from the sender tracks that i routed some of my synths/piano/drums tracks onto. This is of course logical, since the bus track is not routed to the sender tracks, but i can't figure out how to minimize the amount of stems used in the mastering project while still holding onto the effects from the sender channels. Does anyone know the solution for this?
Thank you :)
