Not to be that guy, but this is my first Reddit post, so sorry for any nonsense in advanced. Anyway, I've always found myself writing tracks and then wishing I could put some vocals over them. The problem is that I've only done that like one time, and it only sort of worked out. I can't help but wonder what everyone else's process is. (Do you write the lyrics/vocals or track first? Do you write them at at the same time? When it actually comes to recording, what techniques do you use? After you record, what plugins/effects do you use to process them so that they sit properly in the mix while still sounding natural?) Thanks to anyone willing to help out!
