Hello!
I tried once to synthesize a kick but it didn't end so well. I found a song that re inspired me to try again.

He tweeted saying he loved "Plugin Boutique BigKick Kick Drum Synthesizer" in 2014 which is around when the song got released.
I tried creating one but it just seems hard to get the depth he has.
Anyone know any good techniques to achieve this? Also do you think it's a sample or synthesized?
Note: compression, MB compression, Mono, Saturation and layering are tools I heard are great for kicks! (I also know the mix has a lot to play in how good the kick is - you need to make room for it etc)
