Hey guys,
I've been having some trouble lately with my cpu usage in FL Studio. I've gone through every post there is on how to save cpu usage but the thing is when I open task manager it only uses 25% (in fl it's maxing out to 90-100) so I dont really get it.
My laptop has a i7 6700k, 16gb ddr4 ram so I should be more than good right? I'm making EDM and already am using seperate projects to make the break and drop because else I just would have too much CPU. When making a decent break I'm already around 90-100 and it's not even that complicated on the CPU (automation clips etc.). Even when I disable the automation clips I'm still at 80-90% in FL.
Now I read somewhere that FL CPU Percentage and actual task manager percentage aren't the same. But still, it's quite weird that they're 75% apart right?
Running on Windows 10 and the latest FL Studio buid.
I really hope someone here can give me some clarification. For anyone curious on the complexity of these breaks, here's an example of what I would make:

All the best,
