Hey, I have a weird question about the channel faders in FL Studio. I usually adjust them in 5% increments, just a habit. Is moving a synth from 35% to 40% going to increase the volume by the exact same amount as if I move it from 90% to 95%?
Sometimes I'll drag like ten faders down one by one, for gain staging purposes. I'm wondering if this is offsetting the mix though, as they're all at different levels. I have noticed on occasion that down around 10% or 15%, synths start to disappear from the mix, EVEN if you've adjusted your listening volume so there's no difference in perceived loudness.
