There's just sooo much to learn. I've lately been stressing myself out, when this is supposed to be a fun activity lol. It was cool experimenting, but now I'm actually trying to finish a song and just keep losing interest and giving up. I've been practicing for like 3 hours a day, dedicating so much time, and I just feel like I'm not getting any better. Does everyone first feel like this? My brain keeps telling me that I just suck, and can't grasp a simple program.
I make a nice melodic 4-8 bar beat and then can't add on to it, so I just save and start something new. Been doing this for months.
Would taking a break to learn music theory be beneficial?
Secondly I just can't understand how to make things sound professional. I don't understand how to get that clarity. I have heard that low frequencies can really damage a sound. Is there any good channels that just show you how to make and master a track start to finish?
I'm using FL studio btw
