So I've decide that I really want to start producing music. I don't have much music background, but listen to a lot of music (grade 3 trumpet,grade 2 theory but forgotten most of it as was about 10 years ago, done a little DJing in recent years) but am a quick learner. I have access to logic pro x which is also very nice (need to learn how to use the software). I am just wondering where I need to start, what I need to do and any pre-requisites I need before I start trying to produce music. Also just any advise I can get to help me out to start producing some music. All advise is welcome. Thanks a lot.
