I'm listening to some different kind of music, I'm open minded. I'm usually a metal head, but I stumbled across this electronic music mix for a League of Legends thing. Never played the game for the record.
It's called Courtwalk, and it's made by someone called 3D Blast? https://youtu.be/UHl8aV-says
I love how it sort of makes me feel like I'm in a frozen cave which is lit up by mysterious plants, but I'm having a good time. I know that probably isn't what the song's intention is, that's just how I feel from listening to the instruments. I don't know music theory or the terms for composition.
I think it's an arpegio that's playing that strange crystal sound with a heavy echo in the background? Not sure if reverb or delay. And then that lead comes in, that also sounds almost crystally, with lots of reverb. It sounds really good. I'm interested to know what instruments those are. It might be VSTs, but I'm looking for the kind of thing it's called or making, like how a sort of underwater sounding instrument is bowed glass, or uplifting is associated with some electric synth or warm pad.
