I started teaching myself guitar about 2 years ago. I don't think I'm bad but there's always room for improvement. I practice about an hour a day. The thing is, I am falling in love with piano. I think it's a beautiful instrument & I one that I would love to be able to play. I realise that in order to learn piano, I would have to sacrifice some time spent on the guitar. My question is: is it possible to make good progress on both instruments simultaneously with only about an hour a day to spend on learning music? Would it be smarter to rather improve my guitar playing to a level that I'm content with before starting something new?
Also, if I do end up picking up both, how would I approach it? Is it better to spend one day on piano & the next on guitar? Or half of my available time each day on both to ensure that I am consistent enough?
