Hello everybody,
Some thoughts... Why are certain techniques so inherent to film music and classical music? When I started researching chromatic mediants, it had film score and romantic era music written all over it. It seems less popular in mainstream music.
What I don't understand is that many tutorials online explain it in a very dry and often over complicated way. At least that's my opinion.
I have made 6 examples with different styles and instruments, and tried to explain it as accessible and theory free as possible.

My goal is that anybody can start writing and using it in their own music.
I hope it helps and that you will like the examples that I wrote!
