I learned about the existence of perfect pitch a few days ago and after some experiments I figured I'd finally tested if I had that as well. So I looked through my library and looked at title and cover art. I picked Out of Touch by Hall and Oates as I was sure that I hadn't heard that song in many many months. I recorded myself humming the main melodie.
Now please I am not a singer, I don't like my voice and I can't really control it very well. That's why I had to stretch each note to find the pitch I wanted. I recorded this on my phone without a reference tone
Here is my recording: https://clyp.it/fa50wlag?token=ef2883bd4e025806d36189345648da3a Sequence: original - my recording - both mixed
So my question for you guys is, does this have anything to do with pitch perfect? I noticed in the past how some ppl never managed to find the right key for a song when they just started singing casually.
