Music has pretty much been my passion forever, but I never actually tried to learn to make some, and I feel like it'll be one of my biggest regrets in life if I never get into it haha
I want to be able to make music like this pretty much
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ce8r9RfK1wk
Obviously this is super advanced stuff and I don't expect to ever be this good, but the idea of just trying out sounds and building a beat sounds amazing to me
I also enjoy Marc Rebillet's stuff, where he just kinda picks some instruments and makes a song
I think a good start for me would be to learn piano, as from what I can gather if I can play that I can "learn" most instruments electronically, with some sort of midi keyboard(?)
I have a Novation Launchpad that I bought a few years ago on an impulse and pretty much have never touched it, not sure if that is useful to me and the direction I want to go, but it if I can use it that'd be good
I'm open to purchasing equipment or software that would be helpful, not sure what my budget would be but I'll get an idea
Sorry for the wall of text, any help is appreciated!
TLDR: Want to make music, I enjoy beat making using loops, can't play any instruments, don't know where to start
