I want to say I'm at somewhat of an intermediate level of playing and I've reached a point where I think I'm kind of stuck as to where I want to go.
While rock and blues are great fun to play, I want to delve into jazz mostly for theory purposes (and it's a blast to play), but I'm having trouble finding direction in this area or where to really start.
I picked up The Real Book and started messing around with some movable 7th chords, ii-V-Is, and voice leading but I feel like I need something more concrete to go on.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I should go from here?
