The whole idea is really confusing to me, like what ways can Mid-Side EQ be better then a plain one? Let's say you scoop the mids out of a synth from the middle because its clashing with the vocals a bit. If you put it back in mono, wouldn't it just clash again because the sides still have those frequencies? Or if the synth sound only contained those middle frequencies in the middle of the stereo field, wouldn't a simple EQ do the same thing?
