Hey all,
I'm starting to receive responses to my demo submission which makes me happy that actually, A&R listen to my tracks. Majority of the answers is that labels pass without mentioning any further reasons. I get the message that I need to improve on tracks, to make them stronger.
On the flip side, I'd like to know what's exactly missing/I need to learn/improve my tracks. That's what I'm currently struggling to find out.
What's your experience? Do you get hints why your submissions weren't accepted or how you could improve so that tracks are interesting for labels?
