There is a song call step back by a group called chinese man (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3pheVanEMM), that have a sound that feels like a shockwave when it's a liveshow on good theater or venue soundsystem, it's insanely good live. (at 1min15sec for the first shockwave in the youtube video) I played that song since then on a lot of speakers to test how it feels, and it can be pretty good on certain speaker, and very underwelming on others.
For exemple, this shockwave effect is quite good in a friend's bmw car (but very far from the live experience of course), but very underwelming on my focal XS 2.1.
So here is my questions about it :
What is that sound ? What frequency is it ? Is it the subwoofer that produce the sound or the speaker ? What kind of sound system would be good to render that sound as best as possible ?
