Seems like at the final stage of mastering I often end up in a loop of: check loudness meter, tweak volume and/or limiter, check again, etc. I can usually guesstimate where the true peak will be, but for something like the integrated LUFS, where you need to run through the whole song, this is a bit of a PITA. Obviously I will use my ears, too, but they make meters for a reason. Is there any way to meter the LUFS of a track in non-real-time with Ableton Live? Also I’m thinking of switching to Reaper, so if you can do it there it’d be good to know, too.
