Don't know where else to ask it so I'll say it here. I have a bunch of orchestral string VSTs that are very quiet. To make them louder I mixed them all up to the max that I could in my DAW. Then I created a new bus channel called strings which I mixed up again to amplify it more. That still wasn't loud enough so I made another bus channel to mix it up some more, routed from the Strings bus.
Is there a more efficient way to accomplish this? I'm using Studio One 3 pro and these VSTS: http://bigcatinstruments.blogspot.com/2017/02/vsco2-rompler.html
