I'm trying to recreate the above song or similar to as a means of deliberate practice.
I am trying to figure out is if this is a patch on, say, the M1 or if he has used chord planing?
The piano in this sounds so much more complex than I usually make with simple 7th/9th chords and I can't figure out how to make the sound or the chords/notes.
I also am wondering how the bass fits so well underneath the track on the drop and how to replicate the effect. I have the bottom end all cleared out for the bass but my melodies clash completely?
