Hey guys.
Wondering for the nth time: When the volume goes above the threshold, does a compressor compress only the frequencies that are going above the threshold -- or does it compress the whole signal?
The existence of a multiband compressor would seem to indicate that it compresses the whole signal. But I'm really not sure.
