Hi guys,
For the current track i am working on, i have made a huge epic sounding supersaw trance lead. Even though the lead sounds great, when i check the frequency analyzer there are some massive peaks happening in the mid range.
This happens to the lead on the reference track im using as well, but not as severe. I have tried using OTT but its not really working. Likewise going in with proQ and removing these frequencies or resonating frequencies only does so much but they are still spiking massively.
How do i get these frequencies under control and calm down the massive peak spikes? If its multiband compressor then could anyone reccomend some general settings? I dont want to colour the sound or alter it, all i want is to controle these peak spikes so they arent a problem in the mixdown. I have the Waves C6 which i got in a bundle but i find it a bit confusing and difficult to use right.
All help appreciated.
