Hello all,
I'm posting in hopes that others may be able to shed light on this for me. For a long time now, whenever I'm sitting down and working on music, I find myself getting drowsy and sleepy.
It usually happens when I have a loop playing over and over while I'm trying to figure out arrangement and sounds. It only really happens when I'm working on my own stuff. If I sit there and listen to anyone else's music I'm fine.
I should note that I primarily use headphones (Beyerdynamic 990s) as I live in a condo and my monitors are next to useless here.
Has anyone else ever experienced this weird phenomenon? Is it some sort of psychoacoustic effect that I'm experiencing from having headphones on and listening to a sound over and over again?
