Lately I've been bouncing my tracks to audio to save on CPU, what I've been doing is keeping a limiter on each bus (for example my supersaw synth stack bus) doing some soft limiting/volume boosting and then once I'm done with the stack I will bounce it to audio or sometimes bounce without limiting and then put a limiter on the finished audio track.
Basically what I want to know is A) Is it proper technique to put a limiter on each Bus/finished audio track and B) Please explain the proper placement and settings you use for your limiters
What I'm using: PSP Xenon limiter on my bus and waves L2 Ultramaximizer light on my master (which I turn off when bouncing audio)
