Hey guys! I am 16, graduated highschool, and sober and trying to make it in experimental music. So I'm in a tough spot but I'm hopeful.
I am working on this project and it's coming along really well. I am even planning out a short film to go with it. I know I need a label to get this anywhere and brainfeeder/warp seems perfect. I know that networking in person is so much better than digital but find it hard to meet the right people. I am completely determined to find some degree of success in music. I already have a sound design job (with not to many hours unfortunately) and make some money off of my first album.
What are some really good spots to meet people in LA? Any thoughts on trying to hang with fucked up people and not being able to partake? What kind of vibe is most successful when meeting people who can help you. Anyone want to meet up near LA and make some music?
