I've used serum for a while and I've gotten fairly comfortable with it, but I've noticed there are some bass sounds I've seen used in massive that I've had trouble replicating in serum. I'm wondering if this is because I don't know serum well enough (I'd describe myself as intermediate, in that I'm reasonably experienced with most aspects of the oscillators/ fx but still have some trouble getting the 'bigger' sounds I'd like, even with distortion/ filters/ compression) or if massive actually has some capabilities serum doesn't have.
To those that have both, is massive worth it? What benefits does it have over other vsts?
