Hey everyone. So this is technically a TIFU but I figured it would be best to ask this question here.
A year or two ago someone on twitter wanted me to make a collab remix of his song and I just did minimal effort solely because the original track wasn’t in my interest to remix. It was out of key, mixing was all over the place, amateurish work etc. I remixed out of respect and was too shy to say I didn’t want to. He reached out to me this past week to tell me he wanted to finally put it out after so long and even had his friend make cover art, which is hard to read and doesn’t look that good imo. I don’t know if I’m coming off as an ass but I just don’t know how to properly say to drop the track. He is insistent on uploading my remix soon. What should I do?
