Do not tell me how Nexus is crap and I should've gotten a real synthesizer
So I waited a while for the ReFX Christmas sale and finally got Nexus 2 for $199. I used to use the pirated version a lot but since getting Cubase 9 (32bit plugins are no longer supporred) I had to actually buy it. I noticed that there isn't much information on what you actually get with it when you buy it so I wanted to leave this here for y'all. On top of factory presets you also get 15 expansions: Crank Crank 2 Dance vol.2 Halloween Minimal House Minimal House 2 More Cowbell Perpetual Motion Psytrance Reverb Impulse Responses 2.0 ROM Extention SID (a bunch of 8bit sounds and drum loops) Synthetic Textures Total Piano TV Movie Game
On top of that, you also get 6 Christmas expansions (from 2012 to 2017) as well as a skin pack. Plus, every Christmas they have an advent calendar that gives you a bunch of new presets.
In my opinion it is a really nice deal with LOTS of sounds to play with and I definitely think it's worth the money.
