So a lot of talk on this sub is about the benefits of learning sound design etc. Now I am not great at sound design at all, however, I have the basics down and I can recreate some stuff well enough to be satisfied.
But that all seems to be meaningless, I am always really really happy with my buildups/bridges/verse sections etc but when it comes to drops I seem to just lose it. I can't think of melodies, sounds, anything. It is not a case of thinking of a sound but not being able to recreate it... I literally have no ideas. All my projects are starting to become buildups that satisfy me with no conclusion.
Don't even know what help I want here but I am starting to become fatigued with the process.
