I'm really trying to find a quality MIDI keyboard that is built well and functions great both in regards to the software and hardware.
I'm highly intrigued by the Advance because of its VIP software and claims to offer tons of sounds and VSTs. However, I'm very hesitant in dropping $600 for it because there seems to be a general consensus in reviews across various websites that the software is incredibly glitchy, laggy, and an overall headache. There's also the whole controversy of the forced iLok installation.
I'm really lost as to how to proceed and would greatly appreciate some insight or anybody's personal experience with the Advance. Thanks!
