My computer is a 2012 MacBook pro with retina display and I have been running a 2013 edition of Logic Pro X for years. Never updated because the one immediately after mine had bugs, then I just never got around to it.
4 years later, will installing the newest version of the software make it run slower or better? It runs kinda ok now, but when I have an almost complete track which has lots of bass and VSTs it will get overwhelmed and laggy.
Should I upgrade? Will the newer one use less CPU and run faster?
