Hey everyone,
I always jot down small ideas, like an arp I think would work well as an intro, or a chord progression, something along those lines. The problem is I either leave it like that, just an idea, or whenever I continue to work with it I'm always dissatisfied with where it's heading and leave it, sometimes to the point where I'll forget what I did and stumble upon it weeks or even months later. I'm really perfectionistic when it comes to what I make, so what would you recommend I do to prevent this?
