Hey all, I was hoping to get some opinions. I'm a COMPLETE beginner when it comes to making music. I know NOTHING. That being said, I have been looking into DAWs and I think I want to try my hand at FL Studio, and I was hoping to get some opinions on which version to get.
I'm stuck between Fruity ($99) and Producer ($199). Basically, I want to learn how to make cool beats and songs, and eventually add in my own vocals and then edit those vocals in the program to make it sound better, obviously. I've heard that the Producer version comes with something called Edison(?) that allows for this, while the Fruity version doesn't.
Can anyone help me out here? Also, just FYI, I have no equipment other than my Surface Pro laptop right now lol, if that matters in any way. Thanks!
