Hi, I bought a Casio CTX-700 a few months ago. I know ppl will say I should have bought a real piano, but it was a really great offer(2nd hand, barely used, only bought for three months), and it was only what I could manage to buy, since I'm still a student.
I once took piano lessons when I was about 4 to 6 years old. But I gave up because I couldn't improve n I was really stupid (to give up) at that time. I only reached Level 2 I think (that's what the the cover on the books say).
I've been wanting to relearn piano all over again. So, I bought a keyboard. But I feel like I'm not getting anywhere if I keep on watching those YouTube videos (tutorials n synthesia). Some of them are too hard, n I feel like I should start from my level? I want to learn how to read music sheets n be able to play Pop songs, anime songs and etc. That's my target. So, I'm just wondering if anyone can give me some pointers, should I keep on watching more videos(but different kind I guess?) or buy the piano lesson books like the one I used when I went for Piano lessons for me to self learn at home? Going to Piano lessons isn't an available option for me at the moment because of money and time(I'm a film student).
Really appreciate for the help :)
