I started teaching myself the keyboard/piano. I have been learning by ear and by Googling "letter sheet music". So basically I play the letters.
I also sing along and let my hands do their own thing sometimes. Just for therapeutic benefits, I know I'm not actually playing anything.
However. I'm overwhelmed when I think about learning how to actually read music. I've always struggled learning new languages.
When will I have to learn to read music notes and what's the best way to learn? Do I just study?
