I need serious help yo, I want to make music, but have no idea what I'm doing. I'm relearning guitar, even then I didn't get far, so all I'm aware of is notes and chords, need pointers and help with that. Same story with the drums, I don't know much aside from hit a thing make a noise, what about notes, etc. Piano, I have basically never even touched one, having an understanding of keyboard/ piano, and music theory would be so much help I feel, but don't know where to start. Finally software, I want to use ableton live, but don't know what any of the stuff does aside from the tracks, kicks, piano roll. No idea about eq, fx, mastering, song structure, I tend to get barely five seconds into something and can no longer think, or know where to take it. I also have plans for an album and have lyrics planned for the songs, so I want to do lyrics first and music production to fit lyrics later, so pointers on that would be great. I have very very base knowledge of music aside from taking Choir for almost seven years, and Beginning Guitar for half a year, and we only did the first three frets of each string and all the chords associated, but I don't remember much of any of it, so if y'all can teach me swo that I can learn more and grow and advance in guitar and just making music in general that'd be great! Sorry for the long post.
