I have a game I teach my students, which is to sing the Alphabet song (A - B - C - D - E - F - G...) but instead of starting on "A" I start on "B" so that all the lyrics are displaced by 1 syllable.
It is quite hard and I have always wanted to find some scientific research on why lyric displacement messes with our heads.
Any ideas or research articles?
Here is me singing just as an example (in case my description was not clear)
