Hi all,
For those who don't know yet, I teach a free online class in Max 8 every Tuesday and Thursday evening on twitch! The regular meeting time is 5:30pm Pacific (6:30 Mountain, 7:30 Central, 8:30 Eastern.)
Class #5 is tonight!
In the last class we built an eight-step sequencer, and while it's great, the patch got pretty messy by the end of the lesson!
In tonight's class we'll discuss beautifying your patch through cable arrangement, sends and receives, encapsulation, and BPatchers.
Then, we'll add a waveform switcher to our sequencer, discussing the basics of audio synthesis in the process!
Join the free class tonight at: https://www.twitch.tv/musicandtechexplained
Classes 1-4 are still up on the twitch channel to watch, if you have some free time and want to catch up! You can built along with me and make your patch as you go. You'll also find a Patreon link on the site where class material is shared to get you immediately up to speed!
The course began at the very beginning, with an introduction to the language, and has gradually been building on concepts and topics. It is a great opportunity to begin learning the language, and you can review the essentials and hopefully learn something new along the way if you already have experience building patches.
