Also If there is a better place to post this please let me know and I apologize for my ignorance.
Ok so my question specifically pertains to alberti bass and left handed accompaniments to pieces like bachs second prelude in c minor, and the left handed parts of beethovens pathetique (1st movement) and moonlight sonata (3rd movement).
I have struggle for years to get accurate playing of the 16th notes at a speed of 130 per quarter note. My problem is getting faster than this. Id like to be able to do bachs prelude entirely at 160 and the same for the 3rd movement of the moonlight sonata, but it honestly feels like a far off dream.
For thr pathetique I cant get the alternating octaves without my left hand becoming exhausted. My right hand can do it but my left cant. :(.
Is there any advice I can get for increasing my technique. I would really like to obtain mastery or close to mastery someday and surmounting this obstacle would be one of the greatest feelings ever since Ive struggled for so long with it. Progress has been extremely slow for me, and I stopped putting in daily practice because I lost hope. I recently started doing an hour to 2 hours of technique again and I feel like i made progress but I dont know if it is in my head.
Thank you for your time and have a great day
