I printed some sheet music. I'm somewhat newbie. Anyways I look A LOT at my hands, I Was told Maestro's rarely do this, they look at the sheet they are playing like 90% of the time. Does this come with time? Or should I purposely be training this, when I try to play it's so difficult when first starting out learning pieces I look at my hands so much.... do I keep going as I am going learning a few bars at a time with a metronome here, OR, do I go take a sight reading course and not learn any music until I master and complete that?
Should I force myself to NOT look at the keys and just stare at the sheet music when I am first learning?
I just wanna play really cool songs, great, lol.
