I've played violin for 5 years, and have recently started playing the piano. I've developed an interest in writing music, but I have no idea what it takes to get to there, or where to start. I need help discovering what level of music theory I need to succeed, and plotting everything I need to learn before I can reach a point where I'll be able to write music.
