My soon to be six year old would like to properly learn an instrument. He has a set of bongos, a keyboard and access to my guitar. He enjoys banging around on each, but has no real training on any. He has a particular interest in the saxophone.
My son was born without the small finger on his right hand. The other nine are as normal as you'd expect, however, I imagine the lack of a pinky would make some instruments difficult. Like a saxophone. Or a piano.
Is there an instrument you'd all recommend for him to begin? Trumpet? A stringed instrument?
Thank you.
