Hey! I am trying to break out of just using a common supersaw for the chords during my sound design process (I'm making nu disco/electro/complextro type stuff). In this song, it sounds like the chords are layered with several different sounds which glue together really well, making the sound pretty full and hard to tell whet the individual layers are and also complex enough to not just say oh just another saw chord stack. Any advice on what layers of sounds (synth and real instruments) may have been used to make this would be greatly appreciated! I may be over complicating this however and it could maybe be a short snippet sampled from an old disco record?
Here is the link, with the choppy chord stuff starting at 16 seconds.

Thanks!
