Hey all! I got a soldering iron last week and the first thing I did was buy some piezo elements and create a box with a bunch of springs and other metal chunks attached to it. I had so much fun playing with it, I created a sample pack using the audio. The pack is over 100 samples and contains the basic recordings as well as more recordings run through various guitar pedals and Ableton effects.
The sample pack is completely free (just put $0 in the price) and you can grab it here: https://gum.co/bb_springbox
If you wanted a bit more of an overview of the box and how it came about, I posted a YouTube video on it this morning here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pkQF5zR8Oo
Let me know if you have any questions, I'm super stoked to make more piezo noise makers in the future, and will likely be creating more sample packs from them!
