Hey guys! I'm looking for some sound design help. I want to learn how to make this sound for my recordings (or these DIFFERENT sounds, if I'm not analyzing them correctly). I've been going at it for a while and still don't quite have it. If I were to take a guess now, to make this effect it sounds like I would need a really fast ascending/descending midi line playing a simpler waveform with some filtering going on. It reminds me of when someone would do a glissando on the piano. I have a few examples here. In the first one he layers it with a growl one shot and it's probably the most prominent out of the examples I found. https://youtu.be/HeFBrO-fy6o?t=95 For the second example, my head is telling me it's changing pitch, but then I second guess myself and I'm not sure if it even is. To me it sounds like the midi is holding a note and he somehow gets it to arpeggiate/glissando with an envelope. https://youtu.be/lqBb5a_KvF4?t=101 This last one it sounds like a much smaller run is quietly layered with a future bass style chord. I'm hearing it mostly in the right channel. https://youtu.be/m3V3Z2VIrxU?t=166 Thanks for reading guys. If anyone knows how to do any or all of these sounds I would love to add them to my bag o tricks! I've searched the internets too but I'm not exactly sure what to name these sounds.
