Hey, I finally upgraded to FL 12 and am thoroughly unimpressed so far. Seems like almost everything is just a little bit harder to do, but I'm having 1 problem in particular that's really frustrating.
In FL 11, in the browser I was able to save a "snapshot" of my own personal folder. So I would just press 2, and it would immediately jump to my folder where I've been saving all my samples.
In FL 12, the same functionality is there, but there's a catch. I saved the snapshot as 4, and then when I press 4, it jumps to that place (as it should). HOWEVER, if I scroll up or down while still in snapshot 4, it automatically saves snapshot 4 as the last view/last folder I had open.
For example, I press 4, and it takes me where I want to be. Then I scroll down a bit to look through different samples, then I close the browser and go back to producing. Later, I open the browser and immediately hit 4, and it takes me back to the last place I had the browser open to... NOT the folder that I had saved the snapshot to. So I then have to scroll back up to the folder I want to be at...
Is this the dumbest thing Image Line has ever done? Having snapshots automatically save at the last point you were scrolling at, thereby completely defeating the purpose of even having snapshots? Is there a way around this?
Sorry to tag /u/coranns, but I know he's quite an expert in FL...
