So Yung Gud is by far my favorite producer with Yung Sherman as my 2nd favorite and I've been trying to learn how they make their sounds, not just to copy but because I just love anything they produces and want to incorporate it in my music. I'm not talking about some basic saw leads or plucks, I'm talking about any of the sounds in songs like this, this, this, this, this. They don't sound like just straight up wavetable synthesis but he said in his ama that he uses soft synths. He also says that he heavily re-samples, reverses, re-reverses? Any idea what programs could be used to re-sample, I've used Serum to some effect but it doesn't feel very powerful in that regard. I can also tell he uses real instruments in a synth to add texture, any idea how this is achieved specifically the software that can achieve this?
